After attaining an M.A in Music, you can work in Govt. Cultural Departments. You can become a music composer or a singer and work in the entertainment industry. You can become a theatre artist. You can become a DJ, a music critic, or a music editor. You can also work as an art director or a music director in TV and movies. You can become a live performer or participate in music reality shows. If you are into academics, you can pursue an M.Phil or a Ph.D. after M.A in Music. You can also open your own music academy and teach music to children. If you desire to teach music in a college or university, you can qualify NET/SET and apply for the position of Assistant Professor of Music.
