City and Technologies is an effort of understanding the needs for the livability or habitability of the modern times cities and the importance of technology for the formation of the new urban environments. Government and Industry both need new professionals in order to develop projects for the transformation of the cities using the potential of technologies of information.
Master in City and Technology [MaCT] is a one and half year course program. It is double accreditation professional Masters Degree shall be awarded by IAAC, Barcelona and an accredited certificate from BSSA NMIMS.
This course basically deals with an understanding of several actions between Mumbai and Barcelona in an effort of facilitating the exchange of knowledge and the mutual learning of urban experiences among cities. It trains candidates to develop projects for the transformation of the cities using the potential of technologies of information. The purpose of the program is to develop new categories of projects, technologies, and solutions that can be extended systematically to the cities of the world, thus helping them to become more efficient and more human.
The Master's program is oriented to engineers, architects, designers, economists, and graduates in any discipline related to the transformation and management of cities and technologies of information.
