The term Zoology is derived from two ancient Greek words zoon means "animals" and logos means "study". Zoology focuses on the life of terrestrial and aquatic animals. The whole scientific study of physiology, behavior, distribution, classification, and structure of both living and extinct animals along with their interaction with the ecosystem falls under the broad section of biological science that is Zoology.
Course Description:
Master of Science in Zoology is a post-graduate program with a minimum of two academic years. Course duration can slightly vary across various Universities.
One can complete his/her Master's studies in Zoology full-time, part-time or through a distance learning program depending upon the University’s norms and availability.
