A Bachelors's degree with a major in Sociology is an undergraduate course with a duration of 3 years. It is the study of social concepts or theories, social causes or consequences, social environment, or social life of human beings.
This course introduces students to the in-depth knowledge of the social environment and also to the social changes that take place in societies. This helps them in maintaining and improving their social relations.
Sociology helps students to observe and analyze societies, their culture, and behavior (including how people interact in these communities). This improves their critical thinking and gives them the opportunity to think about any social change irrespective of gender, caste, or religion.
