B.Tech Textile Chemistry is an undergraduate degree course and the duration of the course is four years. The course curriculum entitles students to understand various chemical compositions and their usage in the textile industry. The course is basically a blend of chemistry and textile understanding. After completing the course, graduates can apply for jobs in various textile industries with salaries starting from INR 30000 per month. They can work on profiles like quality control supervisors, process engineers, etc.
The Bachelor of Technology in Textile Chemistry enables students to understand how chemical processing works in transforming the textile industry.
The fee structure for this course ranges between INR 35000 to INR 70000 per semester.
The basic objective of this course is to make students understand the usage of chemistry in the textile industry. They should be able to put their creativity by blending chemical science and creating finished textile products. The course not only inculcates theoretical knowledge in them but also makes them independent to be innovative in their field. Students will be able to identify different types of fiber and materials such as synthetic, manmade fibers, etc, and create a splendid product out of them.
There is no denying the fact that after finishing their course, students will be able to apply their learning to raw materials and modify them efficiently and effectively for industrial usage.
Students who are interested in opting for this course must possess at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10 + 2 examination.
