What is MBBS?
Medical Council of India is a statuary body that regulates and monitors the standards of medical education in India. The course curriculum is divided into three pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical. Pre-Clinical covers the basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biophysics, introduction to Community Medicine, etc.
Para-Clinical deals with the subjects like Pathology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine including Toxicology, etc., and Finally Clinical based upon the practical application of subjects like psychiatry, pediatrics, etc.
MBBS Eligibility
- One should pass 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and biology with a minimum aggregate of 50% each.
- One has to qualify CET, AIPMET, or AIMEE with a good percentile to get admission in this course.
- The age limit to appear for this course is between 17-25 years in India.
