According to the WHO Health Index, just one dentist is required for every 7500 people. But in India, the ratio is 1:5000 which suggests that there are additional dentists in India than the specified number. But the difficulty is, most of them are positioned or practice in urban areas instead of rural areas. If dentists are instructed or sent to rural areas, then this problem is often settled. There is often a balanced dispersion across India. This will also ensure in additional job chances and there'll be an equal distribution of employment within the government sector also. Hopefully, there'll be an honest employment rate within the dentist community within the coming years. So, they practice there for a few years and after conserving money they are available to India and open their clinic. Some also calm down there permanently

In India, not a lot of people seek BDS because of interest, but they could clear the MBBS cut-off. Although there are vast opportunities in BDS employment-wise and higher education-wise, still people consider MBBS to be better. Yet, this is not true. Both are for distinct fields and provide varied career outcomes.
Ans:-)The BDS admission process is done with NEET only from 2016 onwards. Nevertheless, there are exams like RUET for BDS admission into Rama University, Kanpur.
Ans:-)BDS fees differ for government and private institutions. It ranges from 1 lakh to 30 lakhs relying on the college.

Ans:-)No, I don't think so. Both are supposed to be one of the most appreciative degrees in India and to get it to admission, students must qualify NEET exam whose syllabus is exact. Some of the subjects like biochemistry and other basic science subjects are similar. But since they both refer to different disciplines, therefore, core subjects taught and practicals are different.
