L.L.M. with a concentration in Energy Law is a master’s degree or postgraduate course which is offered in many colleges in India. Generally, the duration of the course is two years when done on a regular basis. Students can also pursue this course through distance learning but the duration in this case may vary.
The course aims to introduce students with the importance of regulation and control of energy use.
L.L.M in Energy Law is the study of the latest laws and judgments related to Energy, Commercial & Technology, and International Trade which equips students with a deeper understanding of the functioning of national and international regulation of energy.
Students having an L.L.M. degree in Energy Law can seek employment in many areas such as public policy officers, teachers/ professors and researchers, etc. They can also go on to practice law as attorneys.
