There is a CLAT exam. conducted every year 2nd sunday of MAY. it is conducted by BCI (bar council of India). admission is purely based on merit in CLAT exam. there are total 17 NLUs in this and around 2100 seats all over india. CLAT exam is held in only online mode . 200 question in 120 mintues it includes Legal , GK , English, Logicial, Maths.

fees is feasible around 1.5 lacs per year. other NLUs cost around 2 lacs per year. though they spend much more than on student development. after 5yr course student get avg salary package of 15 lacs per annum.
