IAS Exam

One of the toughest exams to be cleared to get into the Indian Constitution is IAS, i.e. well known as Indian Administrative Service. No wonder, this is the most challenging exam ever! It is conducted by UPSC which is popularly termed as Union Public Service Commission. It is a dream of every individual to lead a successful and worthy life. Clearance of this entrance brings power and responsibility. It is not that difficult to crack the exam, but it requires efforts and mind to crack it. If you are capable enough to beat this, no one could ever stop you from being an IAS.

Why The Toughest ?

It is known as the toughest exam in India. There were times when old people used to search for government jobs and get stuck into it. But, now again the people are getting attracted towards the fixed jobs as they never know when they could be kicked out of a private company. The most prestigious and esteemed job is that of an IAS and so, people are crazy to get into it.

Only the experts and fully fledged individuals are capable enough to get through these entrance exams. There are umpteen number of qualities that are examined while the selection of a candidate. This is the whole-sole reason why the success rate is so low in these exams. The mind and preparation of a candidate should be excellent to crack the IAS examination. General Awareness :

The world is being globalized at a large extent and so, the general awareness and the curiosity in the minds of people for current affairs is increasing day by day. May be it is not a compulsion for each and every examination paper to include a general awareness section, but if you are preparing for an IAS, it is a must section. You should be fully equipped with the news and current affairs that are flowing into the world. By watching television, reading newspapers and magazines, one could easily make out what is going around the world.

Criteria for an IAS :

You should be able enough to clear prelims and mains for cracking an IAS entrance. It is quite challenging if you opt for becoming an IAS. The prelims and mains are the two stages that you have to pass while giving an entrance for the same. When the prelims and mains will be clear, then the third is the interview round which will decide your calibre. Also, academic excellence is must in IAS exams. The personality, spoken attitude, basic attire and excellent knowledge decide the admission of a candidate. If you possess these, you have a long way to go.
