<p style="text-align: justify;">Mr. Upendra Kushwaha, Union Minister of state and Human Resource Development (HRD) stated that “The main aim is to provide the better opportunity to the student to bring out their best performances”.</p> <h3>NTA to coordinate NEET, JEE</h3> <p>In response to a Written request in the Lower House of Parliament, Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development (HRD) Upendra Kushwaha expressed, "The National Testing Agency (NTA) will at first conduct those entrance tests which are held by the CBSE. The exams will be coordinated online twice a year, thus giving a better opportunity to the contender to draw out their best," Kushwaha said.</p> <center><img src="http://www.allschoolscolleges.com/UserFiles/Image/civil-2-1510747032.png" alt="" width="800" height="400" /></center> <p style="text-align: justify;">He incorporated that the Center was setting up a National Testing Agency (NTA), a free and self-upheld head testing agency, to coordinate the arrangement of tests for the higher educational institutions.</p> <p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;">GOOGLE_AD_DATA</p> <h3>CBSE overburdened</h3> <p style="text-align: justify;">Both NEET for admission to medical colleges and JEE for admission to engineering colleges are now coordinated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CBSE has passed on its limitations to the HRD benefit about coordinating the exams in the future, saying they are overburdened with the tremendous exercise.</p> <h3>Features:</h3> <p>As per Mr. Kushwaha, NTA will benefit students in the future. Some of the key features of the NTA are:</p> <ul> <li>NTA will conduct the JEE and NEET and other examinations which are currently upheld by CBSE thus, relieving CBSE.</li> <li>After NTA is fully geared up all the other entrance exams will be conducted by it in future.</li> <li>To bring out the best among students, exams will be conducted twice a year.</li> </ul> <h3>Benefits to Students</h3> <p>As per the statement by the union government, NTA will benefit nearly 40 lakh students in future who appear in the various entrance test. It will slowly relieve AICTE, CBSE, IIM, IITs and other agencies by conducting the entrance test and thus helping them to focus on their core mandate. Not only relieving the agencies it will bring the high reliability, intelligence and problem-solving abilities to the students and standardized difficulty level to assess the aptitude.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The body will comprise of the chairman (appointed by the HRD) and the CEO who will act as the director general (appointed by the centre) and will comprise of the 9 verticals headed by the academicians and experts. The body will receive the one time grant of 25 crores from the centre and will run on the self-sustaining model after that.</p>
