<p style="text-align: justify;">The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will lead UGC NET 2018 on July 8, Sunday. In a short notice, the board has declared the changes in the UGC NET 2018 exam pattern and qualification/eligibility criteria. Students who clear the paper will be qualified for a junior research fellowship (JRF) or can be considered for the post of assistant professor. A point by point official notice will be distributed on the site cbsenet.nic.in on February 1. Registrations for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018 will start from March 6 2018 and will proceed till April 5 2018.</p> <p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;">GOOGLE_AD_DATA</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">The significant changes have been made with respect to UGC NET 2018 Exam pattern and age limit qualification. The major changes in NET UGC 2018 are:</p> <ul> <li>Instead of 3 papers, there will be just 2 papers – paper 1 and paper 2.</li> <li><strong>Paper 1</strong>: <p style="text-align: justify;">It will be of 100 questions and will contain 50 compulsory objective type questions. Each question will be of 2 marks and will be of a general nature and will test the research aptitude of the candidate. The span of a similar will be 60 minutes (9:30 am to 10:30 am).</p> </li> <li><strong>Paper 2</strong>: <p style="text-align: justify;">It will be of 100 questions and will contain 100 mandatory objective type questions based on the candidate’s opted subject. Each question will be of 2 marks.. The length of a similar will be two hours (11 am to 1 pm).</p> </li> <li><strong>Age limit Increased </strong>: <p style="text-align: justify;">as far as possible, the age limit has been raised by 2 years. Prior, the upper age limit for appearing up for JRF was 28 years, yet now, it has been increased to 30 years.</p> </li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;">One year ago, CBSE effectively directed NET on November 5 and around 9.30 lakh applicants had enrolled for the same. The exam was directed in 91 urban areas at 1700 exam focuses.
