After the examination, there was a ruckus at the college when it came to notice that many of the questions, too, were identical to the question paper of the same subject from two years ago.
News large description:

Considered as one of the best colleges in the city, management of Sir Parashurambhau (SP) College had to face major embarrassment on Tuesday after a question paper from 2016 was allegedly repeated in an examination, without even changing the old date.

On October 23, students appearing for the Marketing and Salesmanship paper as part of the FYBCom term end examinations noticed that the question papers given to them had October 8, 2016 date printed on them.

After the examination, there was a ruckus at the college when it came to notice that many of the questions, too, were identical to the question paper of the same subject from two years ago.

“It is shameful that such a copy-paste job was done where the professor in-charge of setting the paper did not even bother to change the date. The management of the college must take action in this case for the carelessness and irresponsibility,” said a professor of the college, who did not wish to be named.

Meanwhile, Principal Dilip Sheth denied that the question papers were identical or repeated, stating that only a couple of questions were same. “Not all questions were the same. It is true that the date on the paper on Tuesday was printed as the same as that of the examination two years ago. What happens is that the basic structure of the question paper is copied while setting the new paper… the change in heading and date did not take place due to human error. We have still referredthe matter to an external subject expert who will submit a report,” said Sheth.
News Source (Insian Express)
