This is a professional, undergraduate program, which enables students to understand the various concepts of electrical and electronic equipment and their detailed analysis.
The duration of the course is four years and the curriculum for the same is divided into eight semesters. The curriculum is also updated periodically with regard to changes in the electrical and electronic field and that too under the guidance of expert professionals. After completing this course, graduates either can opt for higher studies in the respective field or can opt for a career in electricity boards or with companies dealing with electrical equipment.
The fee structure for B.Tech Electrical and Electronics engineering ranges between INR 1to 3 lakhs per annum. Once graduated, students can easily apply for the post of electrical or electronic engineer with various multinational firms dealing with electrical appliances and can give their career a great start.
With the help of this course, a student gathers all the necessary information with regard to transmission, generation, and utilization of electrical energy through high power based electronic equipment. After successful completion of this course, they can confidently put their knowledge into professional practice through designing, producing and testing various electrical and electronic machines.
A student must have cleared his/her higher secondary examination from a reputed board or University with minimum 45% marks taken together in PCM subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.
