The Bachelor of Technology course in Industrial Design provides the students with practical knowledge about product designing technologies, inputs, and concepts. Students who like to learn and work with the latest technologies should opt for this course.
B.Tech in Industrial Design course is a four-year undergraduate course and each year is divided into two semesters. Though this course is mostly done through regular mode, some students prefer to study via distance learning mode. In every year, students are imparted with an understanding of techniques to resolve real-time issues. After completion of this course, students can design comprehensive business plans for the conversion of existing proposals into real products.
On completion of this course, students can work in reputed companies such as Godrej and Cognizant. They are given strong job positions such as designers, managers, and scientists. A fresher graduate from this field earns around Rs. 2.4 lakhs per annum to Rs. 3.6 lakhs per annum. The remuneration also depends on the level of expertise and the kind of organization.
The students can work independently and also contribute to a team. Students having skills such as digital, imaginative and communication must go for this course. They must be willing to learn new and latest technologies pertaining to industrial production and designing.
In order to be eligible, students must have passed their 10+2 examination with good grades. The admission criteria are provided by the colleges or institutions. Students from recognized boards can also apply for this course.
