About B.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering Course
The Bachelor of Technology course in Manufacturing Engineering helps the students to acquire functional knowledge of product designing procedures and resource optimization tools. Students learn how to apply latest manufacturing engineering methods and technologies for cost-effective production.
B.Tech Manufacturing Engineering is a four-year course. Each year is divided into two semesters. On completion of this course, students gain knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, structural analysis and materials science. Students who have scored good marks in Maths and are possessed of creative and analytical skills can opt for this course. They must apply a practical approach to build effective solutions.
A fresher graduate from this field can earn around Rs. 1.2 lakhs per annum to Rs.1.44 lakhs per annum. Many of the organizations such as Godrej and ASB employ pass outs of the B.Tech course of Manufacturing Engineering. Students can seek positions of production managers and quality control analysts in private sector organizations.
Purpose of B.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering
In the field of manufacturing engineering, various mechanisms are applied for conversion of raw materials into finished products. An engineer must know the appropriate method in order to achieve the desired result. Thus, this course renders students with a practical understanding of all product designing and development processes and tools. Students can assist in product manufacturing at affordable rates and as per the user needs.
B.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering Eligibility
In order to be eligible for this course, students must have passed their 10+2 examination in the Science stream and with PCM subjects. PCM stands for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Similarly, students from recognized boards or institutes can also apply for this course.
