Bachelor of Design is an undergraduate degree course of 3 years duration in the field of design. There are many specializations available in this course. One of the specializations is Fashion Design. Fashion Design is the study of design in garments, shoes, bags and other accessories and the theory and history of fashion industry. You need to have passed your 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream from a recognized university or board in order to be eligible to seek admission in this course.
Premier institutes like NIFT also conduct entrance tests to select eligible students for the course. The admission is based on the aggregate of the marks obtained in 10+2 and the entrance exam.

You can also work for any Fashion Designer. You can also become a Fashion Accessory Designer. You can work in Fashion Media or Jewellery Designing Industry. You can also work in Fashion Marketing and Fashion Merchandising. You can also pursue a Master’s degree after completing your Bachelor’s in Fashion Design.
