The Mahatma Gandhi International School is an educational project that promotes holistic learning. The emphasis is on learning rather than teaching. The process of learning is experiential with real-life meaningful links. Children are active agents in the construction of their knowledge. Through the academic years children participate actively in deciding on their projects which are mapped together with the faculty, integrating the diverse disciplines and skills. The various projects so far include film-making, journalism, cafeteria, and rock-band. This led the students to showcase their films, win accolades as musicians in national competitions and run a real cafeteria on campus.
