Tulip School was set up in 1996 by Mr. Yogesh Shridhar, the Managing Trustee of Tulip Charitable Trust in memory or his father Late Shri Dahyabhai A. Patel, a renowned educationist with the vision of a design shop of International standards. Mr. Shridhar dreamt of making Tulip into a model school of Ahmedabad and today they have created a congenial atmosphere and has succeeded in enabling the tulipites to meet the challenges of the world successfully. Mr. Shridhar strongly feels the tender hands of the educators can do wonders in moulding a child into a responsible citizen of the country.
In a time span of ten years the school has reached the heights enabling it to open a branch in California, USA.
We at Tulip believe, a fundamental part of our role is to inspire students to become successful lifelong learners and responsible global citizens. This belief, and the dedicated drive of our teachers, staff, students and parents has won us a reputation for academic excellence and personal achievement

The interview is as pleasant and unthreatening as we can make it. It is normally conducted by the respective Principal and the Counsellor/ Psychologist. We are interested in knowing about the child’s/ student’s educational development, use of language, social skills, academic enthusiasms and extra-curricular interests. The aim of the interview is to find about what the student knows, understands and enjoys.
Overseas applicants who are unable to attend the interview/ entrance test should courier all the required documents to the Admission office at the address mentioned. In addition they should also arrange a confidential recommendation from their existing school containing their last transcript. Such information should come directly from the candidate’s existing school to the school Trustee either in a sealed envelope [by courier/ post or by e-mail.]
