The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is a deemed university and institute which offers the research and study of space science. It is a government aided institute located in Thiruvananthapuram and offers the Master of technology (M.tech) Programme in various disciplines at the postgraduate level.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IIST -

The candidates must check the IIST eligibility criteria 2018 before applying for the IIST 2018 application form. The eligibility criteria consist of the age, nationality and the educational qualification. Candidates can check the IIST 2018 eligibility criteria below:

• Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen
• Age Limit: The candidate should be of 32 years as on April 30^th, 2018. SC/ST/PWD category candidates are eligible for the relaxation as per the government norms. However, there is no age relaxation for the women and the OBC candidate.

Educational Qualification:

The IIST offers the M. Tech in the following disciplines: Thermal and Propulsion, RF and Microwave Engineering, Aerodynamics and Flight Mechanics, Structures and Design, Earth System Sciences, Digital Signal Processing, Control Systems, VLSI and Microsystems, Geoinformatics, Earth System Sciences, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Solid State Technology, Materials Science and Technology, Machine Learning and Computing, Optical Engineering.

IIST M. TECH ADMISSION APPLICATION DETAILS

The IIST M. tech admission 2018 procedure is simple. Candidates need to register themselves through the online application process. The application received through online mode are eligible for the further processing. Shortlisting of the candidates is done on the basis of their performance in the interview and written test.

• Candidates need to register for the IIST M.tech 2018 by providing the necessary details like Name, mail id, phone number.
• Upload the required documents, photograph, signature in the prescribed format.
• After the successful submission candidates must keep the IIST registration number and password allotted to them.
• Candidates must complete their course registration using the IIST registration number and password.
• Pay the IIST application fees after 2 days of registration by using the SBI Challan and upload it.
