About Lalji Mehrotra Lions School

LML School is one of the pioneer projects of Lions club of Karnavati Foundation. The foundation is affiliated to the Lions Club International, an organization with presence in over 189 countries and a name synonymous with service to society, sacrifice and voluntarism.

The Lions Club of Karnavati is one of the largest, most active and well-managed clubs in the world. The foundation aims to serve society by fulfilling two fundamental needs – Health and Education. In keeping with this quest, the foundation has set-up a school and an eye hospital.

Lalji Mehrotra Lions School is set-up adjacent to the Lions Karnavati Vishnubhai Patel Eye Hospital at Ognaj, about 10 Kms. from Thaltej Tekra, Ahmedabad. The school began operations in June 2002 with classes Jr. KG to 4, adding one class every year and is now running classes from Jr.KG to Twelve. The school is affiliated to the CISCE [Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations], New Delhi.

Admission Procedure

The school welcomes parents and students who wish to visit the school between 9.00 A.M. and 12 Noon on any working day (Monday to Friday) Admission to any class is granted on the basis of “First come First Serve” All formalities and admission procedures should be completed by the parents in person. Admission will be granted only on the receipt of the first term fees. Admission forms are available at the school office on all working days (Monday to Friday) and Second and Fourth Saturday between 9.00 A.M. and 12 Noon. Completed Admission forms should be submitted with the following documents from Monday to Friday and Second & Fourth Saturday between 9.00 A.M. and 12:00 Noon. 1. Self-attested Birth Certificate – Original and a Xerox copy 2. 6 passport size photographs of the child. 3. 1 postcard size family photograph. 4. Self-attested Aadhar Card of the Student. 5. Address proof of Parent-Self attested copy of Electricity Bill or Rent Agreement Copy. 6. Medical Form duly filled and signed. 7. Original School Leaving Certificate. 8. Last Report Card. 9. Duly filled Admission Form.
