Kendriya Vidyalaya Ballygunge started in the year 1980 and over the years, it has grown vibrant and dynamic in every respect. It is one of the premier Institutions in India and to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under Ministry of HRD, Deptt. of School Education & Literacy, Government of India.
This is the first Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kolkata Region to bag the accreditation of NABET for Quality School Governance. It is undeniable that one becomes successful only when an alert mind and agile body works in perfect synchronization. Apart from stressing on consistent and good academic performance, the Vidyalaya’s focus on all – round development encourages a vibrant interest in the curricular and co-curricular activities to bring out the latest talents in its students. Our staff members too have added many colour feathers to the cap of our Vidyalaya by bringing laurels in various fields.
