Somerville School, Greater NOIDA was established on 2 July 1998 by the Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India. The School is administered by The Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India. It is an unaided Christian Minority School affiliated to the CBSE Board. The foundation stone for the School was laid on 12th January 1995 by Mr. Ravi Mathur I.A.S. Chairman of Greater NOIDA Industrial Development Authority. We have the distinction of being the first public School of repute in the area - a fact which was recognized by the Greater NOIDA Authority on its Founder’s Day. The School has a beautiful and imposing building with the green and sprawling campus spread over an area of 5.17 acres. The garden has many varieties of trees and plants including a herb garden. To conserve water the School has its own Water Harvesting System. The School campus has CCTV surveillance for the safety of the students, along with the Public Address System.

The School aims at holistic development of the learners through various co curricular activities and academics. The aim of the institution is to instill a strong value system which helps our students to be equipped with life skills.

The School believes in keeping abreast with modern education and has state of the art equipment for the benefit of the students. Admission Procedure

An advertisement for admission to Nursery class and schedules for the same are given in the daily newspapers in the month of August/ September. Parents are required to fill the admission forms and submit them to the school by the given date. Short listed candidates and their parents are called for an interactive session on specified dates. The shortlisted candidates will be intimate regarding the date of interactive session. Due to the limited number of seats available, all applicants may not be accommodated.

Parents seeking admission for their ward from Classes KG to IX are required to apply in the months of February/March. Admission in these classes is subject to vacancies in the class for which the admission is sought.

Provisional Allotment of streams for internal candidates will be based on their performance in the Pre-Board Examination. 
The students in class XI have the choice of opting for an additional subject.

External students can apply for admission after the announcement of the Board results. They shall be accommodated subject to the vacancy available, depending on the grades required for the Stream.
