St. Thomas' English Medium School, Meerut was founded in the year 1972. Mrs. S.O.Chand, Head Mistress of St. Thomas Primary School, Meerut played the most important role in setting up this institution. However the contribution of presbyter of St. Thomas Church Meerut and the Principal of St. Thomas' Girls Inter College Meerut cannot be overlooked.
Miss Kamla Singh (later Mrs. K. Noronha) who was working as a primary teacher was singled out by Mrs. S. O. Chand to head the new institution. The school had only 75 students four teachers & four support staff members. It was only upto II standard. The school was housed in the old red building. Under the able leadership of Mrs. K. Noronha, this infant institution grew from strength to strength and was upgraded to X standard. The school was affiliated to the Council for Indian Certificates Secondary Education, New Delhi and the first batch of 20 students appeared for ICSE in March 1985. The school had a 100% result.
18th August 1992 was a black day in the glorious history of the school, for on this day Mrs. K. Noronha breathed her last breath leaving everyone in shock.
Mrs. S. Mohan took over as the Principal after the sad demise of Mrs. K. Noronha. The school continued do grow and achieved many Haurels.
The old Red building was demolished in 1993. At present there are three blocks dedicated to three strong pillars of the school. Zorawar Block, Comfort Block and K.Noronha Block.
In 2006 the school was upgraded to XII Standard and since then has boasted of 100% result.
At present the schools strength is 3360 with 90 Plus faculty members in addition to administrative staff & support staff.
In 2016 a change of leadership resulted into Mrs. A. Deane taking over as the Principal. Under the guidance of the present Chairman Rt. Revd. Dr. P.P. Habil, Bishop of Agra Diocese and our present principal, the school has emerged as a leading institution, nurturing talents, imbibing moral values and is marching towards completing 50 golden years and spreading the message of Love One Another.

Registration & Admission-Procedure
There is no written test for admission in Nursery. There will be an oral Interaction to gauge the child's aptitude and general awareness.
For admission to the next upper classes, the students will have to qualify a written test, covering, English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science based on the syllabus of the preceeding class to which admission is sought.
Registration forms are available in the school office and can be procured by paying a fee of Rs. 200/-. Duly completed and signed forms are to be deposited in the school office by the given date of submission mentioned on the forms.
Registration is no guarantee for admission and registration fee is non-refundable.
Age at the time of admission for Nursery as on1st April 2017 is 3-4 years.
