Girls School [ICSE]
St.Agnes' Convent School, founded in Howrah in 1880 is conducted by the Religious of the Congregation founded by Mother Marie Therese Haze in 1833 in Liege, Belgium, has been active in the sphere of education throughout the world ever since its foundation. St. Agnes' Convent School is a Catholic School establishment and administered by the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross in the Roman Catholic Church. The Founder Body reserves the right to run the school according to its norms and close the school if it is prevented in any way from doing so. As its central motivating force it has, the experience of God's love revealed to all people in the suffering and death of Jesus Christ on the Cross. As Daughters of the Cross, the 'Cross of Christ' the sign of Peace and Love, the Centre of Mother Marie Therese Haze's life from which she drew her strength and inspiration, urges us her daughters to be educators in Joy and Hope. With Christ we desire to bring about the liberation of every person, especially the weak, the poor, the handicapped the depressed and the rejects of Society. In the spirit of Mother Marie Therese we are committed to the education, primarily of Catholic girls. Attentive to the times we minister to the just educational needs of our ever changing society.
