Satchidananda Jothi Niketan International School (SJN) is a fully residential, CBSE co-ed school located at Kallar, at the foothills of the Nilgiris. The campus is spread over a sprawling acreage and creates a serene environment that is conducive to learning. The school is enveloped by natural environs of the Western Ghats and therefore, is a home to a variety of flora and fauna. Principal’s message

In the demanding scenario of school education today, education as a whole needs a re-look and a re-thinking. Schools are no longer considered centres for just knowledge gathering and teachers are no longer looked as ‘sage on stage.’ The invasion of technology has left a paradigm shift in children from mere subject learners to building skills – both hard and soft – that would support them as life-long learners. To meet this dynamic trend, teachers have to be teach-savvy with a human touch; parents have to be caring and responsible adults; and the school managements have to keep bringing new practical ideas into action. To meet this ever changing trend at Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan, we focus on producing global Citizens who are holistically developed at the same time carrying the core values passed on in them over generations.
