Admission Procedure

Registration is the first step for seeking admission in SSIS. The required form is available from the school office free of cost. Registration starts in the month of December and continues till the date notified by the Principal every year. The information about the availability of seats in various classes is publically announced in the month of December-January. Registration is followed by interaction.

The school adheres to the age norms as fixed by the U.T. Education Department. For Pre Nursery the minimum age is 3 years and above. For Nursery it is 4 years and above and so on and so forth. No student beyond the age of 21 years is allowed to seek admission into the school unless instructed by the Director of Public Instructions, Chandigarh. The Principal reserves the right to deny admission to any child without any prior notice. Once the admission is granted, the following documents have to be furnished:

Result Sheet of the previous class attended.
School Leaving Certificate from the previous school.
Payment of all the dues on the same day.
Admission of a student in the school implies understandably the complete acceptance of all the rules and regulations of the school in force and as amended from time to time.
