St.Agnes' Convent School, founded in Howrah in 1880 is conducted by the Religious of the Congregation founded by Mother Marie Therese Haze in 1833 in Liege, Belgium, has been active in the sphere of education throughout the world ever since its foundation. St. Agnes' Convent School is a Catholic School establishment and administered by the Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross in the Roman Catholic Church. The Founder Body reserves the right to run the school according to its norms and close the school if it is prevented in any way from doing so. As its central motivating force it has, the experience of God's love revealed to all people in the suffering and death of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
