V. N. Memorial Public School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi and prepares the students for its All India Senior Secondary Examination and strictly follows the guidelines and syllabus for different stages as prescribed by the N.C.E.R.T., New Delhi. Every effort is being made to teach the students the effective use of English as a written and spoken language, while Hindi is the second and Sanskrit is the third language.

VNMPS, a residential/educational facility for Native Indian children and youth, is an apostolate of the Congregation of the Teachers of the Sacred Heart. Our mission is to provide the children with an enriched and integrated living and learning environment that responds to the needs of the whole person. It develops the skills necessary to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle through education, group home living, the development and appreciation of spirituality and culture, and the promotion of personal growth and self-esteem.

PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVES

Besides infusing in a child nationalism, morality and love for moral values, we are aiming at growing a child as a conscientious and responsible citizen of India by providing him/her a congenial environment, in which one is latent potential can be explored using latest technologies. So, the curricular and extra-curricular activities are framed to ensure the desired level of mental and physical fitness.

Interalia, the main objectives of the school are to develop the child.

• Parents/Guardians are expected to observe all the rules and regulations of the school which may be enforced from time to time. In case of dispute, the decision of the principal will be final
• Come to school in prescribed uniforms
• Arrive to school only 4-5 minutes earlier. After the time is over, the school gate will not be opened
• Bring your diary daily
• Identity – Cum – Library Card must always be with the students
• Unnecessary walking in corridors, talking, making noise, etc. is strictly prohibited
• Its compulsory for each student to participate in all school functions and activities
• Do not damage any school property
• Without prior permission of the principal, no student can leave the school premises
• Bringing of unauthorized reading material and other literature is strictly prohibited in the school
• Students shall have to converse in English during school hours
• Smoking and consumption of alcohol or other objectionable drinks is strictly prohibited and liable to be faced disciplinary action
• A student will be under the strict discipline of the school, throughout his stay
• All disputes arising out of any clash with the school authority shall be within the territorial jurisdiction of Rohtak
