Media/films and journalism is related to various forms of communication like television, newspaper and radio. Journalism and media have grown into prominence with the developments in telecommunication field. Nowadays internet also plays its role in conveying news to people. Eligibility
For undergraduate courses, candidates should have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or university. There may be entrance exams as well which are conducted by individual colleges and universities, to screen the students.
Course Content
Students will be given lectures in media studies, film studies, interactive media arts, journalism, photo imaging, acting, communication skills and presentational skills. Interactive classes like debates, seminars, discussions and presentations are conducted to hone the skills of the students. At the end of the course, students have to work in a related field for a minimum of three months.
