With the intention of providing regular education to the children of military personnel, the Army Welfare Educational Society has set up around 130 army schools all over India. Army personnel gets frequent transfers to various locations and these schools offer continuous education to their children. The syllabus followed by these schools is similar to that of the Central Board of Secondary Education.
