• Adichunchanagiri University

Adichunchanagiri University is a private university located in Javaranahalli, in Mandya district, Karnataka, India, offering courses in medicine, engineering, pharmacy, nursing, education, and commerce. Azim Premji University was established in Karnataka by the Azim Premji University Act 2010 as a not-for-profit University and is recognized by The University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2F.

Garden City University is established under the Karnataka State Act no. 47 of 2013. The Garden City University Act received the assent of the Governor of Karnataka on 26th March 2013 and was published in the Karnataka Gazette on 12th April 2013. The University Grants Commission has listed Garden City University in the recognized list of Private Universities in India.

• Khaja Bandanawaz University

Khaja Bandanawaz University (KBNU), named after Sufi saint Bande Nawaz, is a private university located at Kalaburagi, Karnataka, India. It was officially established in 2018 by the Khaja Bandanawaz Educational Society under the Khaja Bandanawaz University Act, 2018, following the approval of the Bill in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in February 2018. The university hosts about twenty colleges, including colleges previously under the Khaja Bandanawaz Educational Society such as Khaja Banda Nawaz College of Engineering, Khaja Banda Nawaz Institute of Medical Sciences, and a newly formed law college. The founding chancellor is Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini, president of the Khaja Bandanawaz Educational Society, and the vice-chancellor (VC) is to be Abdul Jaleel Khan M. Pathan (A. M. Pathan), formerly VC of the Central University of Karnataka.

• M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences

Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) is a UGC approved Private University in India. It was created by an act in the State of Karnataka, India, and was established in December 2013.

Within two years of establishment, the University has been ranked as one of the top 100 universities in India issued by the National Institutional Ranking Framework of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The University has been rated as a "Four Star" University under the New University Category of Karnataka State University Rating Framework (KSURF). Under the KSURF ranking, RUAS remains the only University to achieve "Five Stars" for innovation.

The University is sponsored by Gokula Education Foundation (Medical) trust. The University was created by integrating M.S. Ramaiah College of Hotel Management (1993), M.S. • PES University

People's Education Society University Ring Road Campus (PESU RR or just PESU), formerly PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), is one of three private universities under the name PES University in Bengaluru, India.
