PRESIDENCY GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS

Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI), along with the University, constitutes 7 Schools and a College. While the college offers programmes to students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in information technology, commerce, management and journalism, the schools offer National and International Boards of Studies.Presidency College, located in Bengaluru, has been re-accredited by NAAC with ‘A+’ . The postgraduate MBA programme at Presidency College is approved by the AICTE, Delhi. Within a short span of three decades, PGI has created a niche for itself as one of the top-notch institutions in Bengaluru. Recently, Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI) was bestowed with the “Most Promising Institute in South India” award at the British South India Council of Commerce and Business Meet 2014.

PRESIDENCY UNIVERSITY ADMISSION

Applications received are reviewed for basic eligibility, academic performance and other evidence of the candidate’s suitability to his/her preferred programme The admissions committee responds within 15 working days of receipt of application and sends:

• A confirmed admission offer, or
• A request for an additional written test and/or interview in case the admissions committee feels it needs additional information on the applicant, or
• A note of regret, in case admission is declined

All decisions are communicated via e-mail. Please check your e-mail (as provided in the application form) for our response. When admission is offered to successful applicants, the e-mail is also followed by an official offer of admission, sent via courier.

PRESIDENCY UNIVERSITY HOSTEL FEE

The University has a good hostel facility separate for boys and girls. Keeping the future needs, a new state of the art hostel block is coming up for providing additional capacity to accommodate 450 students near the University campus. Resident students are provided furnished accommodation comprising cot, chair, cupboard, internet Wi-Fi, etc. Each hostel is provided with independent dining area and common rooms, TV, etc. Hostel has indoor games facility. Hot and cold drinking water facility is provided in the hostel. Transport facility is provided to girl students during weekends and on holidays to go to nearby Yelahanka new town for shopping.

Hostel will be provided on first come first served basis. Random allotment for hostel and rooms will be done. Rooms and hostel once allotted can not be changed.

Hostel Fee for Boys:

• Double Seater: Rs. 1.5 Lac per year
• Triple Seater: Rs. 1.2 Lac per year

Hostel Fee for Girls:

• Double Seater: Rs. 1.5 Lac per year
• Triple Seater: Rs. 1.2 Lac per year
