About LLM in Business Law Course

LL.M with a concentration in Business Law is a master’s degree which is offered in many universities in India. The course can be done in full time or part time but the duration in both the cases differ. Generally the duration of the course is two years.

Purpose of the course

The course is designed to equip students with theoretical knowledge of business laws in and around the country.

What is LL.M (Business Law)?

LL.M in Business Law is designed for students who wish to enhance their knowledge which includes complex business transactions. Some of the common subjects under this course are corporate finance, international transactions, taxation, intellectual property, labor and employment etc.

The course also focuses on several other topics such as Security Law, Labor Law, Corporate Law, Antitrust Law, Bankruptcy, Intellectual Property Law, Trusts and Estates etc.

Eligibility

• Students applying for this course must have a bachelor’s degree (in related stream) from a recognized university in which they must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate.
• SC/ ST students have 5% of relaxation in the minimum aggregate.
