About LLM in Constitutional Law Course

LLM is a 2-years postgraduate degree in the field of law. Constitutional law is one of the areas of specialization of LLM. The study of constitutional law includes the comprehensive study of the nature, scope, and definition of various laws under the Constitution of India. It also studies the fundamental rights and duties of the citizen and their legal aspects.

Eligibility

• One needs to have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in law from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% of marks in order to be eligible for being admitted to the LLM course. The minimum marks criteria can vary slightly from institute to institute.
• Law colleges may also require you to pass an all India level entrance exam like Common Law Admission Test or an institute’s own entrance exam in order to seek admission for the course.
