B.Tech with a specialization in Mechatronics is a bachelor’s degree with duration of 4 years. The course can be done in regular basis or correspondence basis.
The course is the combination of electrical, mechanical, information technology, electronics and computer science.
B.Tech in Mechatronics is an undergraduate course which is the study of micro-controllers, programmable logic controllers, industrial sensors, computers, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric drives, programming, design of mechanical structures and mechanisms etc.
Purpose of B.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering
The main objective of this course is to introduce students with the basic concepts and methods so that they can design, construct and run factory production lines and automated processes.
Students seeking admission in B.Tech (Mechatronics) must have completed their Senior Secondary (10+2) with the required aggregate.
SC/ ST students have 5% of relaxation in the minimum aggregate.
