About M.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
M.Tech with a major in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or M.Tech (EEE) is a postgraduate degree course which is offered in many universities in India. It generally requires two years to complete when done on a regular basis. The duration of the course may vary when done in correspondence.
The course is designed to introduce students to the deep understanding of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.
What is M.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering?
M.Tech in EEE is a master’s degree taken after a bachelor’s degree which is all about the designing, manufacturing, maintenance and development of electrical equipment such as electric motors, radar, communication systems, power management systems, navigation systems and there are much more.
Some of the common subjects in this course are Power Utilization and Management, Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Energy Management, Control Systems, Telecommunication and Digital Signal etc.

- Students who are willing to take admission in this course must have a Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent (in the related stream) from a recognized university in which they must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate.
- SC/ ST students have 5% of relaxation in the minimum aggregate.
