MS in Anatomy Course Overview
M. S Anatomy or Master of Surgery in Anatomy is a two year post graduate degree course in the field of Anatomy. It is a branch of biology and medicine which deals with the structure of living things and treatment of the diseases relating to the same through medical and surgical aid. It includes Human Anatomy, Animal Anatomy (zootomy) and Plant Anatomy (Phytotomy). This course provides firsthand knowledge about the anatomy of the human body through dissection, a complete study of normal anatomy, handling of the body safely right from its arrival to its final disposal, effective teaching and methods of assessment in Anatomy.
Eligibility Criteria for MS in Anatomy Course
- Students need to have passed their M.B.B.S. degree with minimum marks of 50% in it so as to qualify for a further post graduation course in Anatomy.
