M. S. Neurosurgery or Master of Surgery in Neurosurgery is a two-year post graduate course that deals in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, injuries, and diseases relating to the brain, spinal cord, and the nervous system. They are trained to treat issues relating to these organs through surgical procedures if required and are known as neurosurgeons of Neurological surgeons. However, to specialize in this field and to become a recognized neurosurgeon, candidates need to cover a 7-year rigorous residency program after having completed their medical school course structure.
<h3id="3">Who can opt for M.S in Neurosurgery? Students having a minimum of 50% marks in their M.B.B.S degree course are eligible to opt for an M. S. course in Neurosurgery.
