About Birla Institute of Management Technology

The fully residential campus of Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) located in National Capital Region is one of the top MBA Institutes to study in India.

The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) was established in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture. Late Basant Kumar Birla, Ex-Chairperson of the Basant Kumar Birla group of companies and Late Sarala Birla, were the founders of BIMTECH. The institute is governed by an eminent board of governors mostly drawn from the top echelons of the industry. The institute is supported by the Basant Kumar Birla group and Aditya Birla group of companies.

BIMTECH is a mini India in its formation every year. It has students coming almost from all the states of India, and also from few foreign countries. BIMTECH is like a school where international business endeavors are also made. Ranking And Accreditation:

Accreditations BIMTECH holds accreditations from AACSB, NBA, and NAAC. The accreditations awarded by the three most influential National and International accreditation bodies globally underscore the quality of everything we do at the Institute.

National Accreditation: The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is one of the two major bodies responsible for the accreditation of higher education institutions in India, along with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). BIMTECH has all four Postgraduate programmes, namely, PGDM, PGDM (IB), PGDM (RM), and PGDM (IBM) are accredited by the NBA, and renewal for NAAC is under process.

International Accreditation: BIMTECH has been awarded the coveted AACSB Accreditation, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, a USA-based international accrediting agency). Amongst 21 Indian B-Schools with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accreditation

AACSB International Accreditation:

To ensure the students get a quality education and, on the other hand, the society receives trained and ethical managers, BIMTECH started its AACSB journey in 2015. Incidentally, the acronym AACSB stands for Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, one of the three independent international accrediting agencies located in the USA. AACSB mission is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education. 901 business institutions in 58 countries and territories that have earned AACSB Accreditation. In India, the association has accredited only 15 B-schools so far.
