Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (formerly known as College of Pharmacy) was founded in 1964.

All programs in DIPSAR undergo constant review and evaluation by the faculty to keep pace with a rapidly changing educational environment. Use of technology is viewed just as a critical tool to support and effective teaching , research and the administration of programs and personnel. Therefore, all programs emphasize the relationship between technology as a tool for teaching and learning as well as the application of technology to all fields of study.The Institute has four courses offering Diploma, Degree and master's with, specialist and doctoral degrees.
