Department of Community Medicine is a part of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College. The department process has been started with the submission of application for this to the Govt. of India and soon MCI is likely to visit the department for Inspection. There is proposed up gradation with the setting up of Epidemiology unit. The Epidemiology Unit is a core division that will be engaged in strengthening epidemiological services through training, surveillance, outbreak investigation and operational research.
