About Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education
Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust founded in the year 1994, the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Educational & Charitable Trust has been in the forefront of providing high quality education in the region of Perambalur, an upcoming Yet-to-be developed region of Tamil Nadu. Spurred by overwhelming enthusiasm and ambitious zeal, Shri A. Srinivasan, has been the Harbinger of Literacy Development by being the founder of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Education . Ours is the first self-financing College which was started in the year 2004, functioning at Perambalur district which is only one of its kind.
Ours is the first self-financing college that got affiliated to Bharathidasan University, for the course programme B.Ed., in the year 2004 and al so the College is approved by NCTE in the year 2004.
From 2008 Onwards our college is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. To our credits as a milestone, the College got affiliated to Bharathidasan University for the course programme M.Ed., in the year 2006. The College is further, adorned by the gem- additional intake in the year 2007. The college has acquired recognition for it is third unit of additional intake from NCTE in the Year 2009.
The college has acquired revised recognition order from NCTE in the year 2015. The annual total intake of the college is 300 seats for First year in B.Ed., and 50 seats for First Year in M.Ed.,
The College strives to impart quality education, through a stimulating and innovative environment. Since inception, the college has been endeavoring to establish itself as a nodal center of learning, research and training.
