Award under CMAI, AICTE & UTU National Education Excellence Award

Roorkee College of Engineering (HU) was awarded the “Best Upcoming Engineering College in Uttarakhand Award” under CMAI National Uttarakhand Award Jointly by CMAI, AICTE and UTU. Award was presented by Hon’ble Mr. Vijay Bahuguna, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand& Hon’ble Prof. D. S. Chauhan, Vice Chancellor of Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, Hon’ble Mr. R. C. Pathak, IAS, Secretary, Science & Technology Uttarakhand, Mr. Dinesh Aggarwal, Ministry of Planning-IT, Sports and Youth Affairs, Prof. S. C. Gupta, Deputy Director, IIT, Roorkee. The award function was organized at Survey of India Auditorium, Dehradun on Feb. 11th, 2013. In the ceremony, Mr. Vijay Bahuguna emphasized on Significance of practical knowledge in technical education.

Under CMAI, AICTE & MTU, and National Education Excellence Award

Roorkee College of Engineering (HU) was awarded the “Best Technical Institute in Uttarakhand Award” under CMAI National Uttarakhand Award jointly by CMAI, AICTE, and MTU. The award was presented by Hon’ble Mr. Abhishek Mishra, Minister of Science & Technology, Gov. of UP & Mr. S. S. Mantha Chairman AICTE, Mr. S. K. Kak, Vice Chancellor, Mahamaya Technical University, Mr. JaganathanChelliah, Director, Education & Technology, Texas Instruments, Mr. S N Rai, Director Lava Mobiles, Mr. Ashwani Kumar, MD NIELIT (DOEACC), Mr. Yogesh Kochhar, Director Microsoft. The award ceremony was organized at JSS Academy Auditorium, Noida on 19th Aug. 2013. This venerated award was jointly received by the CA S K Gupta, Hon’ble Chairman HU and Shri Naman Bansal, Secretary, HU.

Under ASSOCHAM National Education Excellence Awards

Roorkee College of Engineering (HU) was awarded by ASSOCHAM, ASSOCHAM – The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India. New Delhi, organized the National Education Summit & Education Excellence Award on Feb. 19, 2014 in Hotel, Shangri-La’s New Delhi. The Seminar Was privileged to have eminent loading personalities of India and abroad. Some of them being: Mr. Pawan Aggarwal, Adviser, Planning Commission, GOI, Dr. Binod Kumar, Former Chairman NCTE (NRC)/Founder Father of CAT, Dr. P. P. Mathur, Vice Chancellor KIIT University Bhubaneswar, Dr. Vijay Kant Verma, Vice Chancellor AISECT University, Mr. Tushar Pandey, Senior President & Country Head, Yes Bank and Mr. LeigthonErnsberger, Assistant Director Skills, British Council, Ms. Cynthia Murphy, Director ACCC, High Commission of Canada, Ms. Anna Garretson, First Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs, Australia, and Mr. Peter Nolan, Counsellor (Education) Australian High Commission.

The Seminar was planned with three technical sessions in which the Indian and Foreign delegates deliberated on the relevant themes. It was established that knowledge from all part of the world must be integrated for the development of Society.

The Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee bagged the “Best Engineering Collage in Rural Areas Award”. The award was handed over by the Hon’ble Padmabibhushan Dr. Karan Singh, Member Rajya Sabha to the CA S K Gupta Chairman and Dr. Om Prakash Dubey, Director HU.

Under National Jharkhand Education Award

Roorkee College of Engineering (HU) was awarded the National Jharkhand Education Award. The award was conferred by National Jharkhand Education Summit & Awards. This is one of the venerated awards of Government of Jharkhand which was handed over in Ranchi on March 24, 2014 by a galaxy of VIPs Hon’ble Prof Dr. L N Bhagat, Vice Chancellor, Ranchi University and Dr. A. K. Pandey, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary Science &Technolog, Govt. of Jharkhand. This venerated award was jointly received by CA S. K. Gupta – Chairman HU and Shri Naman Bansal – Secretary HU.

Roorkee College of Engineering was awarded the prestigious award “Best Engineering College Award” by Career Connect Magazine Which is the most widely reachable educational magazine.

CA S. K. Gupta – Chairman of Roorkee College of Engineering, Uttarakhand received the Award of “Best Engineering College Award” by Chief Editor of the Magazine After Several months of deliberation, “Career Connect” Magazine selected HU that has grown to be the fountain head among Technical Institutes providing Technical Education in India and facilitated for its optimal blending of discipline, academic excellence and industrial exposure in career building of students.

Under North India Education Award 2015

Roorkee College of Engineering (HU) awarded the Royal Brands Education Award 2015. The award was conferred by Royal Brand North India Education Awards. This is one of the valuable award of Royal Brands which was handed over in New Delhi Jan. 24, 2015 by a galaxy of VIPs Hon’ble Minister of State HRD, Dr.RamShankerKatheria. This venerated award was jointly received by the CA S. K. Gupta – Chairman HU and Dr. Gopal Ranjan – Director General HU.

Under National Education Award 2015

Roorkee College of engineering awarded the excellent Technical Education Institute Award 2015. The award was conferred by the National Education Award. This is one of the valuable award of 2015 jointly given by CMAI, AICTE & UTU. The award was presented by Hon'ble Chief Minister, Govt. of Uttarakhand, Shri Harish Rawat and Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Uttarakhand Technical University, Uttarakhand, Prof. P. K. Garg. This venerated award was jointly received by CA S.K. Gupta, Chairman HU & Dr. S.K Saini , Director HU.

TV 100 Award

Roorkee College of engineering was awarded the Best Placement in North India The award was conferred by the TV100 Education Excellence Awards. The Award was given in presence of Hon’ble Sh. Santosh Gangwar, Minister of State for Labour and Employment Govt. of India, Mr. Ajay Tamta, Minister of State for Textile (Govt. of India), Mr. Manoj Tiwari, Member of parliament Delhi State BJP President, Mr. Anil Baluni, National Spokesperson BJP and Mr. Subodh Uniyal, Minister of Agriculture, Govt. of Uttarakhand. This Award was jointly received by Shri CA S. K. Gupta, Chairman, Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee and Dr. S. R. Pandey, Director, Roorkee College of Engineering.
