JIMS Noida is strategically situated in the heart of Greater Noida West (popularly known as Noida Extension). Chairman's Message

JIMS, was founded in 1993 with a clear vision and purpose. It was envisioned that in the foreseeable future it would evolve into a world class business school recognized for its commitment to high powered quality education and research. JIMS is also committed to developing outstanding professionals and entrepreneurs who exemplify humanistic values, are socially responsible stewards and create and disseminate practitioner-oriented knowledge that will uplift society.

The current global economic slowdown is driving India Inc. to rethink strategy, reassess agendas and revisit several of the long-standing rules of the game. Leadership is being stretched for direction and results; management is being tested for fortitude and having a balanced head-on-shoulders approach to keep the momentums going. As the business world gets more complex B-School recruits will need to be equipped with new skills-sets, innovative ideas and a heightened mental toughness to sail through the current corporate turbulence.

In order to keep pace with the velocity of change and thrive in an uncertain environment JIMS has already shifted gears to a mode of mastering change. It has launched several strategic initiatives both at the macro and micro levels t o ensure that student's overall development is in tune with the present demands and expectations of industry. At JIMS, our strategic focus in future will address areas of curriculum design, mentoring and live projects, advanced statistical software training, international summer internships, soft skills, stress coping and EI learning. These initiatives will focus on developing student competencies in dealing with global complexity, emerging technologies and change, and social and cultural diversity

Strategic Association With SRCC

XAVIER INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & DESIGN has entered into a strategic association with the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) University of Delhi, the country's topmost college in business studies/management education. The agreement is designed for capacity building of the institution and human resource management and developement. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) will provide consultancy support in the areas of institutional development, curriculum design and implementation. The unique association will cater to the below-mentioned areas:

The Institute is registered as Delhi Institute of Higher Education (DIHE) under Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS), Meerut. All courses offered are affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University and the degree is awarded by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. Chaudhary Charan Singh University is one of the well known and renowned state universities which was established in the year 1965.

The industry has always eagerly sought the intellectual capital of JIMS by participating in the final placement process. This year has been no exception as prestigious companies made a beeline for our campus. Our students were interviewed and absorbed in good numbers in these organizations. Truly, the ready absorption of our graduates by the industry speaks volumes of not only of the excellence of our academic programs but also of the flawless professional training the students are imparted. Each year our placement process starts with a characteristic zeal and gusto. The year begins with invitation to top corporate for final placements. The objectives of the placement all are three fold as under:-

Initiating a series of campus and off campus requirements, making arrangements with corporate organizations for placement of various students in the areas of Management, IT, Journalism and Mass Communication.
Placement of students in different companies for internship and live projects.
Prepare students in keeping with the changing requirements of business and industry.

Admission Procedure & Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

Min 55% marks in 10+2 , qualified from any recognized board.

Selection Procedure:

Tinal selection will be made on the basis of JET (JIMS Entrance Test). The written test is of two hours duration followed by personal interviews.

The written test for all courses other than Interior Design and Mass Communication is divided into the following 3 sections:

English: Verbal Ability & Verbal Reasoning
Maths: Quantitative Ability
General Knowledge & Current Affairs

Mass Communication:

Students appearing for Mass Communication are tested on their writing skills pertaining to media professional skills.

Note: Students who have qualified in any of the competitive exams like IP University, UGAT, MAT, DART entrance test are exempt from appearing in JET. Such rank holders admission will be on the basis of personal interview only.
