MU OET Medical OVERVIEW

MU OET 2019 Application form has been started. Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET 2019) is conducted for offering admission into various UG & PG courses. It is a gateway to get admission in Engineering, Pharmacy, Applied Sciences, and many other courses. Manipal University conducts this examination every year which is a university level entrance exam. Through this exam, candidates get admission in the various affiliated institutions of the university. Admission in MBBS/BDS/MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh courses will be done through NEET scores. MU OET Medical ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The eligibility criteria for MET is defined course-wise by Manipal University. A common eligibility criterion followed for all the courses is that there is no age limit for all the courses. Listed below are the most common eligibility standards for various programs:

Intermediate graduates or equivalent examination from a recognized board can register.
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English are compulsory subjects in 10+2.
A minimum 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics & anyone optional subject.
No minimum age limit is there for MU OET 2019.
For PG program, a minimum percentage of 45% marks as an overall cumulative percentage must be secured in the qualifying UG degree.

MU OET Medical ADMIT CARD

For MU OET slot booking 2019, candidates must have the online test booking password. Candidates have to select the exam center and exam date & time.

A confirmation mail will be sent to the email address after the candidate has booked the schedule through the Online Test Booking System. After that candidate can print their MU OET admit card 2019.

MU OET Medical EXAM PATTERN

Manipal University will hold the exam in computer mode. The question paper will contain 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English and General Aptitude. Test takers will be allotted 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.

Brief details on exam pattern are given below:

MET will be in English medium.
Questions will be objective in nature i.e. multiple choice questions (MCQ type). Candidate must choose the right or closest to the right answer from among the choices given.
There is NO negative marking
For MTech & ME, each question carries 4 marks and the right answer will be awarded 4 marks
For all other courses, each question carries 1 mark and the right answer will be awarded 1 mark

Other Facts Related to MET Paper Pattern:

Rough sheets will be provided during the test and must be returned back on completion of the test.
On completion of the test, the final score will be displayed on the screen immediately.
The test score can also be verified online, 24 hours after the test completion
For multiple attempts, best of the scores will be considered for the merit list

MU OET Medical SYLLABUS

Manipal University will provide the syllabus for each course on their website. Candidates can check the syllabus as per the course opted by them. However for B.tech course, the syllabus will be comprised of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General English include questions based on the 10+2 syllabus followed by major 10+2 Boards/Universities.

First of all make a proper study schedule and allot the time as per the difficulty level of the subject.
Always prepare according to the prescribed syllabus by the authority.
Practice with multiple test series, practice papers, previous year question papers and text books.
Must prepare according to the exam test pattern and marking scheme.
Make yourself fit and healthy.

MU OET Medical RESULT

Manipal University result 2019 will be declared on different dates for all courses. Candidates can view their result through online mode form the fourth week of May 2019.

On the basis of result, the authority will prepare the merit list for each programmes. On the basis of this merit list, the candidates will be called for the counselling.

MU OET Medical COUNSELLING PROCEDURE

To participate in the counselling, candidates have to select their counselling venue at the time of slot booking of exam. The Manipal University admission procedure will be organized through offline mode at the prescribed venues.

Candidates will be allotted the seats on the basis of ranks secured by the candidates in the MU OET 2019 exam. Candidates have to bring the required original documents for the verification.
