This exclusive Institution was established in September 1991 by "Rajeshwari Sangeet Academy Trust, Jalandhar" to mould it into "A Premier Design Institute of the Country" with a mission to nurture and promote "Art, Culture and Design".

The Institute today has lived upto its reputation by spreading its name on the International arena as well as within the Country. It has attracted students from all over the World who have received High Accolades for the quality of Design Education and Training. It has become a Brand of its own today in the area of Design Education.

Director's Message

Creativity needs the appropriate atmosphere to flourish and flower. Design, on the other hand, requires a scientific approach. Apeejay Institute of Design has endeavored the marriage of both to give the correct conducive environment for Design Education.

Over the past years the institute has evolved its own Procedures and Methodologies in imparting "Design Education" - giving the student all opportunities to Explore, support for Research, Occasions for interaction with Professionals, Artisans and Industry, thereby helping them to identify with themselves, their inherent capabilities, realize their dreams and the freedom to paint a rainbow in their own colors, not necessarily VIBGYOR.

Student Club Activity

The Institute has Cultural, Sports, Photography, Literary and Environment Clubs which organize activities and student competitions throughout the year.

The Cultural Activities besides organizing events like the Orientation Programme, Farewell Party, Fresher's Party and so on, organizes Student Competitions in Dance, Skit, Singing etc.

The Sports Club organizes sports competitions and fun games (both indoor & outdoor).

Photography being an important subject in the curriculum all across specializations, many competitions are organized at amateur and skill level in outdoor and indoor locations by Photography club.

The Literary Club presents a platform for students to speak and debate on various current issues, relevant to the student community and society at large.

The newly established Environment Club is dedicated to instill concern for our environment amongst students. It organizes activities at sensitizing students to join the green movement & motivate others to do the same.
