Late Shri Govindraoji Wanjari, the founder president, Amar Sewa Mandal was a great visionary, who paved the way for Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalya, in the year 1983, which now has become one of the reputed and leading educational institutions in Vidarbha Region. The dynamic leader Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi had inaugurated Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya on 12th September, 1984. Since then, the tiny plant has gradually been moving towards pinnacle. It is in this year that we celebrate ‘SILVER JUBILEE’ of our institution.

Today, the college has come to be recognized as a trend setter, it has set and defined new paradigms in the field of education. The present president, Dr. Smt. Suhasini G. Wanjari maintained the discipline of the institution. The Secretary of Amar Sewa Mandal, Adv. Abhijit Wanjarri, strives hard to bring new job-oriented courses under the wings of the college.

Amar Sewa Mandal has established Law College in Nagpur city namely Govindrao College of Law with LL.B (3years) & LL.B (5years) Degree course in 2005 so as to produce best Lawyers in Legal traternity.

In the same year we have established B.Ed & D.Ed. College at butibori with independent building so as to cater the need of rural students. B.Pharm degree course was also introduced namely Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy at butibori with independent building so that the students of Pharmacy should get acquainted with industry. With upcoming project Mihan & Cargo hub at Nagpur the city is growing like anything. The city has its own fate.

The city is demanding more & more entrepreneur from the field of engineering & various other trades.

Hense there is a need of proper technical education so that more & more engineers would be standing to face the face of time.
