Ashram Facilities

There are several hundred residential rooms that retain the simplicity of ashram living and yet are equipped with the necessary modern amenities. Many guest rooms have attached, Western-style bathrooms and many have hot, running water. Linens are provided. The ashram provides a clean, pure and sacred atmosphere to thousands of pilgrims and devotees.

The daily activities at Parmarth Niketan are listed below:

5:00-6:00 am Prarthana (Morning prayer) [Hindi] – Satsang Hall

6:30-7:30 am Morning Asana Class – Samadhi Mandir

8:00-8:20 am Sacred Yagya Puja – Ganesha Courtyard

3:30-4:30 pm Afternoon Asana Class – Satsang Hall

4:30-5:00 pm Meditation Class – Satsang Hall

5:30-6:30 pm Sacred Ganga Yagya & Aarti – Ganga Ghat

6:45-7:30 pm Sadhviji’s Satsang & Meditation [English] – Divine Garden

In addition, there are frequent special cultural, Hindi, Music, Sanskrit classes and spiritual programs given by visiting revered saints, acclaimed musicians, spiritual and social leaders and others. All visitors are welcome to participate in our daily activities.
