Sahyadri College Of Engineering And Management (SCEM), Mangalore was established in 2007 under Bhandary Foundation at Mangalore.The Institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and is approved by the Government of Karnataka, All India Council of Technical Education - AICTE, New Delhi, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. 

To a great extent, the success of the College must be credited to the excellent academic results year after year. The institute constantly strives to adopt and improve the teaching methods which vary from the mundane.

These are augmented by strong Human Resource with wide range of rich experience from renowned institutes, strong management support aiding project based learning through more than a core of investment every year, facilitating funded research. The TQM culture can be seen in every facet of activity at Sahyadri from top management commitment by financial support, adequate empowerment, decentralization of power, employee involvement, continuous improvement with apt deliverables for all stakeholders.

The eco-friendly picturesque campus is situated on the banks of the River Nethravathi and is adjacent to Mangaluru - Bengaluru National Highway NH 75 (old NH-48). It is located at a distance of 8 km from the port city of Mangaluru, a popular education hub. It is well connected by road, air and train to all the major cities of India.

The campus with a built-up area of 4.00 lakh sq. ft., is aesthetically constructed in the court yard system. Spacious classrooms with good ventilation and audio-video facility is provided. Well-equipped Laboratories as per AICTE norms and very spacious library with all the required books, journals, e-journals. Four seminar halls and one auditorium with all modern acoustic facilities, beautifully designed food court and well developed sports ground with 400 meters athletic track, with nature's fascinating beauty.
